Delete your Shell account

Shell is provided by Darkel LLC, doing business as Darkel Capital. You can request deletion in the app or by email.

Request deletion in Shell

  1. Open Shell and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Follow the verification and confirmation steps.

Your account enters a 14-day grace period before permanent deletion. During that period, Shell shows the pending-deletion status and lets you cancel the request.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your Shell account when possible. Use the subject “Shell Account Deletion” and include your full name. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.

Data deleted or retained

After the grace period, we delete or de-identify the Shell account, profile, authentication identity, device and notification registrations, and personal app data that is solely tied to that account.

Records belonging to an organization, or content shared with other people, may remain available to those authorized users and may be de-identified where appropriate. Limited records may also be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
